A wiki would be great! I was trying to do it last year but NW was still in beta and didn't allow overriding of parent class loading.

Did you try to run with ejb3?

It's a EJB3 over Hibernate as JPA provider with a custom database (Postgresql). I have to fight now with JNDI but, in general, it runs. I will describe it and post a wiki link here.

It is great to see everyone chipping in on the Seam compatibility department.

What are the problems using their own JPA provider? Seam supposed to work with other JPA providers and hibernate validations isn't hibernate-core dependent...

I rased two issues on RichFaces JIRA:

1. org.ajax4jsf.webapp.WebXml doesn't respect namespaces within the web.xml
2. AjaxContextImpl: Usage of @PostConstruct on decode(FacesContext context)
