A note for those using the Excel preview available since 2.1.0Beta1 - there has been some changes introduced for RC1:

The cell templating tag system has been deprecated in favour of CSS
The worksheet templating has been deprecated in favour of... nothing ;-)
The header/footer tag system has been deprecated in favour of a string with embedded commands
