As promised earlier, here's an article describing in more detail the new security features in Seam 2.1.0.

Enjoy!
Sorry if the first comment is not related to the content of that article. I just did not make it more than a couple of sentence into it. It is almost unreadable to me with that fawn-on-white styling :-(
Admittedly my notebook display is quite weak on colors. (Also I found no way to comment at your blog, so I'm posting here.)
I've made the font colour darker, I hope that makes it more readable now :)
Wow, that could be called a major rewrite of the security system!
PS. Any special reason the document is not on seamframework.org or in.relation.to? Is it not to cause confusion between existing security system docs?
If a man speaks in the forest and there is no woman around to hear him, is he still wrong?
I host my own blog so that I have the ability to easily deploy live Seam examples, etc on the same server. (Plus I think my server runs a little faster ;). Also, it's syndicated on in.relation.to anyway.
Great work Shane! We'll probably start adopting this later this summer. Seam is steadily replacing bug chunks of our internal codebase, which is a Good Thing (tm).
Look at our Identity...all grown up with ACL support, encryption and everything. It almost brings a tear to my eye. :)

The site is unaccessible.
Google cache still works, I think.
Only text is cached, but images not.
Apologies, the site is currently being moved and should be back online in one week.
Hi,
The Google cache entry has expired. :(
It would be really great to read this article. Shane, could you put it online, maybe somewhere else?
-- Kind regards, Mathias
I sincerely apologise, I'm still struggling to get internet connected but hopefully it will happen this week.
Hi Shane, any update on hosting the file? I looked at it before and it looked like a good read, but I need to read it again. Thanks
Hi Shane, I also would like to read that article. When hosting problems are resolved please let us know. thank you!
Please, rate if you find the answer useful.
Just put a copy on this site will be sufficient.
The site is probably down. Is there somewhere a copy of this article or can you post it in the knowledge base?
The site is back online :) Very good work Shane !
